My 2006

The clever ones amongst you will realise that it is 2006, and it has been for the past 10 days. Unsurprisingly 2006 feels a lot like the last bit of 2005, it’s only been 10 days after all. Still things are already looking bright. I knocked up a layout for LUSYN in a weekend, which will hopefully go live soon enough. It turned out as a really purdy CSS layout and Marc (the client) was super stoked with the first design I put to him so that was good indeed.

A pretty good start to the year, hopefully the layout will lead to a lot more work with Marc and hopefully a bit more cash! I have a lot I want to do in 2006, in terms of career and bettering myself. The first and foremost plan is to get this blog out there, and read by a lot more people, it will include writing articles and tutorials. Maybe I will make it into 9rules, maybe that’s aiming to high? But I want to be known, and I want to get some sort of award for my work. That’s the aim.

I just finished installing 512mb of ram for Chris into his computer. It has really wet my appetite and I can’t wait until I am assembling mine! February will be along soon enough I guess. I have already got the first part of the new rig, check it below!

It’s so damn good! The fastest rodent around, complete with little tin containing weights for adjusting the feel of the mouse, I have it weighted into my palm for better control. It’s a Logitech G5 by the way, 2000 dpi, laser mouse. It’s so good; don’t you want to touch it?
