Have A Dabble

I was so enthused to get this blog back on track; I even managed to post pretty regularly for a while. And then it all went to pot, it’s been 2 weeks since I made my last post. I thought I had better get on here and let you all know that I am still going to be blogging. Make sure you all stick around.

Right, I guess I need to fill everyone in on what’s been happening for two weeks, but I can’t be bothered! I really can’t I’m sorry but it’s a real hassle, this is what happens when you leave blogging for a while. You lose all sense of flow.

One big thing I realised (much to my dismay) is that I haven’t done anything truly creative for myself in so long. So yeah I work all day, but cropping images and coding CSS is not enough to keep my creative juices flowing. I make sure I read creative arts, and I’m always surfing creative forums but I never DO anything anymore. So, I decided I need to change this and quick before I end up losing my mind. To start with look out for a new Critical splash page, it’s not going to be big, and it’s certainly not going to be clever. It will help me get back in the flow of things. Once that is done I am going to get cracking on designs for this blog. Hopefully I can do some sort of innovation with CSS. I also want to get into abstract vector art, I have loved that style for so long and I really want to make some of my own. Also I think I’m going to have a dabble with my new camera phone (k750i 2MP camera) and my face in the form of a self portrait.

One other thing I must comment on is my iPod 5G Video. It truly is a thing of absolute beauty. Having all my music in one place is great. Not to mention the amazing quality of the video on this thing. It is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Think I will get some more video on there, would be great for longer journeys. So far I have an episode of Friends and it’s great.

I urge everyone to get into listening to podcast’s. It’s a revolution. Grab yourself iTunes off the Apple site and check out “Hi My Name Is Mark” a great cast by Mark Hoppus from Blink-182.
