Giddy Up Horsey

Its 10 minutes to 11, in the morning (at least is was when I started writing this) and I should clearly still be in bed. After all I was out last night at the Antelope (good night by the way) and I do have to get up at 6 every morning. I was up for a very good reason this morning though, me and Steven had to go to Chalfont St Giles to try on our Halloween costume. The costume happens to be a Pantomime Horse and I promise you all, we look just awesome in it! Can’t wait for the party now, should be a right laugh, all we have to do now is accessorize.

As you all know I got myself a job, I’m 75% sure I will get past the month of trial and get a contract, as Martin (boss man) has talked to me about the contract, holiday etc. All is going well, I am becoming a web standards junkie (I’m going to blame Ben again) It’s also good, as I’m filling a niche in the company, Martin likes designs his way, and Tim is very good at flash and PHP but neither have taken the time to learn CSS and xHTML. If I can demonstrate the power of this way of working, then the whole company can make the switch. We will then have another great reason to use Binamic.

I got paid on Friday, but 2 days before hand I took the plunge and purchased my first Apple product. Now I was planning to get an iPod Nano, but then they go and release a new iPod, and I tell you this baby is so sweet. So I ordered myself one of those. 30GB in black. Awesome. I just have to wait for the damn thing to turn up. I downloaded iTunes this morning and it’s now converting all my WMA to AAC at the moment it has converted 245 / 773 I imagine I am going to be here for a blooming long time. Also I realised with buying an iPod and hiring the costume this morning I only have enough money for 2 days bus fair. So that should be fun.

I realise this blog still needs a lot of work. I will hopefully do something at some point, though I am not promising anything! I also have a really cool idea for a little companion to blogging, more on that when I’m ready.

I also want to go and see the Wallace and Gromit movie, which looks pure genius. Such a shame that everything before this movie was destroyed in a warehouse fire.
